garfield_mondayHappy Monday.  In English, the word Monday came from the old English word for “moon’s day.”  In French, the word is lundi, which means “day of the moon.” It is considered a good day for fasting in some religions. Not in any that I patronize, however. The cartoon cat, Garfield, particularly hated Mondays. I’m not sure why, it’s not like he had to go to work or anything.
