Here are things available for free on Veterans Day, this year on Wednesday, Nov. 11th.
If you’re a veteran or military, thanks! I am a military brat myself, my dad was a lifer in the Air Force. I have divided this year’s freebies between those for everyone, and those only for vets and military:
Free for everyone on Nov. 11:
- Free MP3 download “Bands and Ensembles of the U.S. Armed Forces “Veterans Day Honor” album
- Free admission for all to the Richard M. Nixon Library & Birthplace
- Everyone gets into national parks, forests free Nov. 11
- Key Watergate figure speaks free at Chapman University
Free for veterans and military: (May require ID or discharge papers):
Free cinnamon roll French toast at Ruby’s Diner for veterans and military- Military, veterans get into Knott’s Berry Farm for free
- Veterans, military, police & fire get free admission to Aquarium of the Pacific
- Free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage at Outback Steakhouse for veterans
- Free meal at Applebee’s for veterans and active-duty military
- Free admission for vets to Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, special program free for all
