It is sadly the end of the season for the geographically challenged Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, but they gave us a great run this year, didn’t they?

I have to say one of the things I liked best about the playoffs was the way it brought everyone in this big, disparate county together (except for you Yankee fans and we know who you are.)

I’d be in a store talking about the game to someone, and the sales clerk would say that he was there, too.

My friend Samantha said she was sitting in a grocery store parking lot, waiting for a crucial play to finish before she turned off her radio, and when she whooped in delight, she realized whoops were also coming from cars around her.

If you’re ready now to pick up some fan gear for next year, or maybe for Christmas? this is a good time to save.
